Selling Smiles Terms & Conditions

We are a small independent business - with high standards.

Through personal experience we know it can be frustrating buying off the internet, with levels of service varying massively from shop to shop. It is our policy to treat our internet customers with as much respect as if they were in store with us. We will always keep you informed of the progress of your order and any problems we encounter.
We hope you enjoy shopping at Selling Smiles and visit us again soon. Please let us know if there is any way we can improve our service to you.

How to order

Online
You can now order securely online - we accept PayPal for our website payments. It is quick, easy and totally secure and is the fastest growing way to pay securely online.

Email
If you don't want to order online you can email us your order. Send an email to orders@sellingsmiles.co.uk including the items you would like to purchase, desired quantity and your contact details (including telephone). We'll give you a ring back and take payment over the phone when your goods are ready for posting (do not email us any card details).

Phone
You can order over the phone as well. Telephone us directly on 0191 253 7711 9:30 - 4:30 Mon-Sat. If we are not available please leave a message and we'll ring you back.

Mail
Ordering by post is easy too, but might take slightly longer. Send us a letter with the items you would like, desired quantity and a cheque or PO. Your order will be sent out as soon as payment has cleared. Postal order form coming soon


Making changes
Once you've ordered you will recieve an email from us stating the items you've ordered and delivery information. Please check this and make sure it is correct. If you notice any problems with this then please telephone or email us immediately

If you've set up a Selling Smiles account then you can view your orders via our website. If you would like to make changes to an order, or add an item, check that the order status isn't marked as "Dispatched". If it is we cannot change your order.

Dispatch

All orders are dealt with swiftly, if your item(s) are in stock we aim to send your order out within 24 hours. For orders which are out of stock, or if we don't have the desired quanitity we will contact you and keep you informed. Inevitably there are sometimes slight delays, in which case we endevour to keep you informed every step of the way! 

Please let us know if you have a tight deadline as there may be able to send it out via a faster service at an extra cost. If you have any questions, please email us

Delivery

Costs
We currently charge a flat rate of £4.95 for orders to UK Mainland, however if you are only ordering one small article, please send us an email or give us a ring beforehand for a revised postage cost, we can supply you with a coupon to discount postage on a small order. We appreciate that you don't want to pay £4.95 for a small, lightweight order. We will not rip you off!

Postage to zones A and B is a flat rate of £4.95. If you live in zones C, D or E please contact us for a delivery quote however it's likely to be £6.95

If you have any problems with delivery please make sure you let us know.

 

Returns

The process
If you wish to return an item please contact us within 30 days after dispatch.

Faulty
If your item is faulty please contact us immediately and we will do our best to help you.

Normal
If you've changed your mind after recieving the product, then in some cases we will consider a refund on the return at your cost. Please contact us to discuss before returning.

Christmas Returns
We are more flexible with returns at Christmas, please contact us to discuss options.

All orders will need an RMA number before being returned. Do not return an item to us without contacting us first.



The not so small print

Prices and Payment
All prices are in £ sterling and include UK VAT at the appropriate rate. Please use the currency tool on the site to change it to either Euro's or USD for international orders. Delivery charges are not included in the prices quoted. We accept payment by most major credit and debit cards via PayPal. If you order online PayPal take payment instantly and we recieve payment once we have established that we can fulfil your order, checked details and stock availability and despatched your goods. If you order over the phone, by email or by mail, we do not charge your credit or debit card until we dispatch your order.

Delivery
We cannot guarantee delivery times but most orders are normally recieved by customers within 24 - 48 hours of ordering. We send you an e-mail confirming receipt of your order, containing the details of your order. Your order represents an offer to us to purchase a product which is accepted by us when we send e-mail confirmation to you that we've accepted your order or dispatched the product to you. The contract will be filed.

Cancellation
You have the right to cancel your order within seven working days of delivery (starting the day after you receive the goods) and return them for a full refund. All returns must be in the original condition, complete with tags, bags or other packaging. Should you cancel the contract we will then refund you the price you have paid for the goods, we cannot refund the delivery cost. It is your responsibility to give notice of your wish to cancel within this cancellation period by email or letter . You are under a duty to take reasonable care of the goods. The goods 
must be in the original condition, complete with tags, bags or other packaging and we could recommend for your own protection that you use a recorded delivery service. We will not be liable for the costs incurrered by you returning the item to us.
